Getting up in the night to use the bathroom is a common sleep disturbance. It seems simple, but your child might just need a reminder not to drink anything after dinner (except while brushing teeth), and to use the toilet before bed. Thus, regulating the fluids will be beneficial.
Feed your child, the right diet. Consult a pediatrician, if you are unsure about your child’s nutrition. Food is the energy provider and sleep is always required to convert the raw food into the energy used by the human body. Thus, right food means right sleep.
As a parent, you need to be very patient with your child. Try to understand that the new spirit is full of energy and enthusiasm without understanding what is best for him/her. It is your responsibility to take care of their sleep schedule as well as yours. If you are much stressed about anything, that will eventually affect your kid as well. So, it is important that you are mentally healthy to take care of your child’s health. It is completely okay to sometimes take your breaks and to give some valuable time to self-care.
